Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how Financial Beast processes account, financial, upload, generated-output, consent, retention, and operational data for the v1 single-owner / individual-user product scope.

Effective 22 June 2026 · Version privacy-2026-06-22

Product purpose

Financial Beast is designed as financial decision-support software. It helps users organize financial accounts, holdings, ledger entries, uploaded financial documents, parsed transaction rows, generated reports, personalized analytics, and decision-support outputs inside an authenticated workspace.

Financial Beast v1 is single-owner / individual-user only. Shared, couple, household, team, and multi-member organization rights are outside the v1 launch scope and remain deferred for a future product/legal feature.

Data we process

Financial Beast may process profile and organization data such as names, email addresses, authenticated user identifiers, profile identifiers, organization identifiers, membership role/status, preferences, onboarding answers, and consent state.

Financial Beast may process financial account records, holdings, ledger entries, uploaded file metadata, uploaded document contents, parsed raw row JSON, normalized entry JSON, review status, generated or derived outputs, consent records, and retention/deletion metadata.

Why we process data

Financial Beast processes account, profile, organization, membership, onboarding, and preference data to create and operate authenticated workspaces.

Financial Beast processes accounts, holdings, ledger entries, market/source data, user preferences, uploaded files, parsed rows, timestamps, statuses, retention flags, and generated-output records to display dashboards, parse uploads, support export/deletion requests, perform retention operations, and maintain security and reliability.

Consent and personalized analytics

Personalized analytics are optional. Users can enable or withdraw personalized analytics consent in settings for the current organization.

When consent is missing or withdrawn, Financial Beast blocks personalized analytics generation, persistence, and display for covered generated outputs.

Withdrawing personalized analytics consent removes generated personalized outputs for the current organization but does not delete source financial data, uploads, parsed rows, ledger entries, accounts, holdings, profile, preferences, onboarding answers, or authentication records.

Export, deletion, and retention

Financial Beast includes an authenticated JSON export endpoint for current-viewer/current-organization data. Export scope includes selected source, parsed, uploaded metadata, generated, and decision-trace data. Uploaded file binaries are not exported by the current JSON export workflow.

Financial Beast includes guarded deletion, upload deletion, generated-output cleanup, consent-withdrawal cleanup, retention review, and full account deletion foundations. Some deletion may be delayed by backup rotation and technical retention limits.

Financial Beast may retain minimized, non-identifying deletion or consent evidence where needed for compliance/audit proof. It does not retain raw personal profile/org-linked consent events after full account deletion.

Processors, subprocessors, and transfers

Financial Beast uses service providers for hosting, database, authentication, storage, email if enabled, and optional model/AI provider processing if enabled.

Providers may process or store data outside Ghana or the user's country. Financial Beast does not claim DPC registration in this notice.

Telemetry, marketing analytics, and external AI provider calls remain hidden/off unless separately approved, disclosed, consented where required, and enabled through server-side configuration.

Security and access controls

Financial Beast uses authenticated access, organization scoping, row-level security, private upload storage, and validation checks to protect user data.

No system can guarantee perfect security or availability. Users should keep credentials secure, review uploaded and parsed data before relying on it, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access through the owner-approved support channel.

Financial advice boundary

Financial Beast is educational decision-support only. It is not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

Financial Beast does not provide buy/sell instructions, trade recommendations, guaranteed returns, legal advice, tax advice, or regulated financial advice.

Financial Beast is non-custodial. It does not hold money, securities, cryptoassets, bank deposits, or investment assets for users.

Minors, breach notice, and contact

Financial Beast is intended for users who can lawfully manage their own financial information and account responsibilities.

If Financial Beast identifies a security incident requiring notice, the owner will use the available account or support channels to communicate appropriate information.

Contact and support requests should use the owner-approved Financial Beast support channel.
